Yesterday a fellow raw food enthusiast friend told me that he has been doing other than super awesome with his rawness. As a result, he has had 5 colds/flues this season! He even said that he felt like he might die a couple times during the illness. I remember that feeling of being sick from a cold or a flu and feeling so bad and sad that I might just die. That was scary! I have not experienced a cold or flu for over 2 years since I have been consistent with healthy raw food eating and have gotten past the initial detox phase. According to Gabriel Cousens, M.D., you may be more weak for the first 1 & 1/2 years raw, so persevere!

I am very grateful for the health I have recieved from raw food eating. So, be grateful for knowing about raw and persevere, it gets better!
